That's more serious than a setting problem. Either you have a corruption, or
you have some faulty code running. Try disabling any add-ins and renaming
normal.dot. If that fixes it, restore normal and your add-ins one at a time
until the problem re-appears: then you know which is the culprit. If that
doesn't fix it, reinstall Word.
There is no such thing as "Normal.doc." As for Normal.dot, no need to
download; just rename the existing copy and Word will create a new one,
factory default.
