When copy or backup database and security- it will not take passwo

can't open copied or backup of database-
I copy both security file and database-
when comes up for password - i enter - and it gives an error of password is
not valid

What am I doing wrong? Can anyone help me??

You may need to use Security... Workgroup Manager to Join the workgroup (the
..mdw security file), or - better - open your database with a shortcut
containing a reference to the workgroup file, such as

"C:\...\msaccess.exe" "D:\...\yourdata.mdb" /w "D:\...\securityfile.mdw"

where the ... is the actual path to the Access executable and your files in
each case.
