When assigning a task, how to add CC and BCC to a task request

In Outlook, how can you add a carbon copy or blind carbon
copy to a task request. For example, a manager wants to
assign a task to a staff member, but want's that staff
member's supervisor to be able to get a email informing
them that a task has been assigned to one of their
subordinates without the supervisor having the task
assigned to them as well.

You can't. You'd need to send a separate message.
