Hi George,

The "correct" MS way is that you download new drivers from NVIDIA and then componentize them from CD. And then add them to DB, after
which you can use TAP results to bring adequate component (one of many) in your project.

Or you can read :

Slobodan

BTW: Don't use video adapter drivers provided by MS they are old and don't provide most of acceleration functions.

My display device is Geforce4 Ti MX440, and i want add the driver component
into my image ,so i add Hardware/Devices/Display adapters/NVIDIA Geforce4 Ti
440(Microsoft Corporation) component into my image. But after FBA, the
component seems not work correctly, i still have to install the driver
manaul.
What's the correct way to add the Hardware device drivers?

George,

Hope that you have included USB stack in your image.
Check out
- Device Manager to see if the mouse device is working properly.
- your FBALog.txt and setupapi.log files for any related error.
- if you have "PnP (User-mode)" and "Generic USB Input Device Support"
components included.

Also search
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=...a=group=microsoft.public.windowsxp.embedded.*.

PS. Next time you may want to create a separate thread for a new different
problem. This may help other folks here to search for possible resolutions
to your problems in future.

Hi George,

1. You will need AGP driver for chipset.
2. Do not use MS component but download drivers from NVIDIA, extract them, and make your component. If it is not working follow
Konstantins advice and analyze setupapi.log and FBA .log

Just the problem this thread begin:
If i want to add the Geforce4 MX400 displayer driver, and after FBA,
i can get the 1024*768 screen and Screen refresh rate 85.

What i do is only adding the "Hardware/Devices/Display adapters/NVIDIA
Geforce4 Ti 440(Microsoft Corporation)" component
into my image and set the Screen resolution and Screen refresh rate?
Should i add any other component?
My displaye card is Geforce4 MX440
