What version of Access 2007 would I require? Read on ...

I have Microsoft Office Home & Student 2007, which does not include Access.
However, I might be, in the very near future, taking a course that requires
not only the programs that come with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2007 -
obviously no problem - but Access as well - unfortunately, a problem, as I
don't have it! What version of Access 2007 would you therefore recommend I
purchase? I have never owned it before. Any feedback you can give me would be
great. Thank you!

To give you full Access, I think the only thing available is the retail
edition. If you cannot buy that in the school bookstore, it might be cheaper
to buy Office Professional, which you might be able to get at the bookstore,
cheaper than you can buy a retail copy of Access.

You can buy Access 2007 in a stand-alone educational version
(http://www.educational-software.com/microsoft-access-2007-educational-software-details.html).
I think most college bookstores can get it for you. But that would probably
not be the most cost effective unless you already have the Standard Edition.

But you can buy Office Profession Edition at Student prices
http://www.educational-software.com...rofessional-educational-software-details.html,
again, probably through your college bookstore would be easiest. If they
don't carry it, they can probably order it.

Student prices carry restrictions that you have to prove you are a student
using it for a class and you will not receive any support from Microsoft.

Note: I only give the links above to demonstrate that student pricing is
available. I do not necessarily endorse the website listed. I would first
check with your bookstore and support your college.
