If you want it reliable, change the power supply to a seasonic brand.
Thermaltake toughpower is C-grade. You don't need 850W, but probably close
to 700W. -Dave

Dave what does C-grade mean

Not an actual technical term. It means that there are top tier, lower tier
and even lower tier and thermaltake toughpower fits into that third level of
quality. Not terrible, but NOT something I'd use in a high-end build.
Seasonic or nothing, if you are building high-end. -Dave

With respect to the EVGA motherboard, I'd read the reviews on Newegg,
for all the different 680i offerings. EVGA Tech Support is one issue.

I was reading an overclocking thread over on xtremesystems.org , and
this is what happened to a new not-overclocked EVGA 680i, just installed:

"The stench of death filled my nostrils as i realized the brilliant
light show was actually a vreg powered sparkler, as i jumped for
the wall plug i knew it was frivolous action. my heart sank low
into my stomach as i realized my creations life was as short lived
as my faith in EVGA.

to cut things short the two vregs north west of the CPU exploded
into a shower of sparks and sizzles ending is an eerie smoke filled
sight."

That is a description of a rail-to-rail short across some MOSFETs.

I think I'd search for something else.
