What is the best way to make an archive of data

Hi,

I have a workbook that produces print outs, these print outs are no
archived on paper format, an additional archive should be made o
computer format.

I am looking what would be the best way to make a backup of this data
it can be in text format, because a simplified overview in text woul
be sufficient to store as backup.

I tried making a macro that copied data into a word file but it didn'
work at all.

Saving it into Excel's 65000 rows is not an option because they woul
be filled in a few weeks...

I guess I need some ideas from someone that is a bit more handy than m
with these things ...

Take a look at the OpenTextFile method in VBA help, it may be what you want.
