I ran ipconfig/all and it shows a tunnel adapter 6to4 tunneling
pseudo-interface
what is that and do I need it. IF I dont how do i get rid of it. I connect
to the internet with my broadcom gigabit NIC, that is built into the computer
It also shows Tunnel adapter teredo tunneling pseudo-interface.
I must of installed some service in xp or something does anyone know what
this is and how to get rid of it. I know I used to only see my ethernet
adapter in the ipconfig results. Im lost and think what ever this tunneling
is is slowing my connection

It's an IPv6 thing.

It should not cause a problem, but if you want to remove it, then go to the
network connection's properties and select TCP/IP version 6, and click on
Uninstall.

In addition, I would give the computer a thorough check for worms. trojans,
bots and other malware. It is possible that your computer was made a zombie
and was using the tunneling protocol to circumvent packet retrieval....

You must have installed the IPv6 protocol. To un-install it:

1. Open a command prompt window and run this command:

netsh interface ipv6 uninstall

2. Reboot if prompted to do so.

You're welcome.

Is that all it says -- "roller"? If not, what's the full text?

I'm not familiar with "roller". Is it in the list that says "This
connection uses the following items"? If so, click it, click
Properties, and see what you can find out about it.
