What is a Terminal Server?

J

Jethro

I am leaving MMR in total confusion.

As I try instead to use 'Remote Desktop Connection' from START menu, I
get the error trying to connect to my LEFT machine from my RIGHT
machine:

The MSHOME domain/workgroup does not contain any Terminal servers

What does that mean? How do I fix whatever is wrong? How do I make
such a thing?

I can do the same type of connection the same way from my LEFT machine
to my RIGHT machine okay. Seems inconsistent doesn't it?

Help?

Thanks

Jethro

Browsing does not work in a work group environment without applying a
registry hack. You can either
use the private LAN IP or the name of the PC to call or apply this hack...
Reboot each PC after making the change...
