What has happened to my 2010 posts?

I have made at least 6 posts to XP General and MovieMaker this year but when
I search these two forums using my screen name I get only my 2009 postings
but NONE of this years postings. ALSO, I always check the box to "Notify me
of replies"and I used to get emails notifying my of replies to my posts but
not any more. Samething is surely gone wrong. Can anyone help? I will have to
come back and check for responses because I am sure that I will not get an
email notifying me of a response although I have again checked that box
below. Thank you.

Same thing has happened to me; none of the posts I have made since November
come up in "search for". I reported it to Microsoft several months ago, they
said they would check into it and let me know when there was a solution.
Weeks and weeks went by with no update, so I inquired again two weeks ago,
and the response was that they were still checking into it. This is something
they should be able to fix by the next day; obviously they have no intention
of repairing it or they would have long ago. Don't hold your breath' you're
in for a long wait.

There are some filters in newsgroups that kill certain messages, even when
they are completely harmless. It's happened to all of us. I do not think
that Microsoft are going to fix it, seeing they are moving from newsgroups
to browser-based community groups.

FWIW - I can't get posts to XP general and Outlook Express to even appear.
I have been unable to post a problem I'm having with jpg attachment to OE
emails. Very frustrating. Don't know where to go else to go.

I have posted the jpg thing 4 times on OE General, and none of them have
appeared in that newsgroup. One did appear on the associated
GoogleNewsgroup.OEGeneral I have X-posted twice to try and get a
constructive suggestion on what to do. Interestingly, both these posts did
appear.

I still have the original problem.

1a. "Missing" posts: There have been ongoing problems on Microsoft's end for
almost a year now. Sometimes newsgroup posts appear, sometimes they don't.
It's frustrating for all of us but there's nowt we can do about it. (This
affects both the public and private MS newsgroups BTW.)

If one or more of your posts never appear in your newsreader, use Google
Groups as a fall-back. If you find a post there, it made it to the master
newsserver but it may not have made it to the slave newsserver to which your
newsreader's connected at the time. (There is a master newsserver and many
slave newsservers. The "ongoing" problem concerns one or more of the slave
newsservers not synchronizing with the master newsserver.)

2. If you have an Outlook Express-specific question, begin *your own new
thread* in OE General, not WinXP General, newsgroup. Even if a previous
thread's subject looks like it pertains to your question or problem, never
"hijack" someone else's thread.

3. If you're referring to Outlook Express (OE), don't call it Outlook (OL)
in your posts. OE & OL are not the same application.

Note: I've found one (1) your "Problem with jpg attachments" posts (dated 01
Mar-10) in Google Groups. I will reply to it via Google Groups and we'll
see if my post shows up in our newsreaders.

The way to stop losing posts is to stop posting thru the crappy web
interface and use a real newsreader.
