When I attempt to convert a database from Access 2002 (XP) to 2000, I receive
this message "Form name PropDataCopy is misspelled or missing or refers to a
form that does not exist." What does it mean and how do I correct this
problem?
Many thanks for the help.

I would try to compile the database in A2002 and make sure it has no Compile
error first before trying to convert it to A200 format. When you compile
(codes) in the database,ny line with Compile error will be highlighted so it
is easier to fix.

Had this problem last night, woke up thinking I might have the answer
(at least in my case). I won't know until I get home from work.

Are you attempting to convert the db and save the converted verion in
the same folder? I think you might get away with that for default
properties assigned by MS Access (because I'm sure I've done that
before), but not if you have set certain properties yourself. To
clarify, I went 'File|Database Properties|Custom' tab and set certain
properties, then attempted to convert in the same folder as the 2002
db. Methinks we should avoid saving converted versions in same folder
in any case. Hope that helps both of us!
