What does "An object cannot be found" error mean in sending email.

I am trying to switch from Earthlink mail to Microsoft Outlook. Testing the
account settings comes out all complete and good. When I try to send a test
email, I get the following error: reported error (0x8004010f): The operation
failed. An object cannot be found. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for ANY help.
