I’m the beginner of all beginners. What I want to do is copy my video tapes
(VHS) into my computer. So as I understand it, I would go to a computer
retailer (such as Radio Shack) and buy an “analog capture card,†and install
it. Is that all I need?

So I checked Radio Shack. Below is what they have. Would I want the
“Multimedia?â€

If your main goal is to make DVD copies
of your VHS home movies...you don't need
a computer. A DVD Recorder may be worth
a look.
