What can you do with Post Installation

Hello to Everyone
I will explain to you what I am looking for and you can tell me if your
product is compatible.
I am a small business in developing and selling software/hardware solutions.
Due to the rapid rate of growth, I must purchase computers already built with
XP Pro installed. When I was building my own systems, I used a ghost image
and that worked great for me. I am used to having all my systems configure
the same. Trying to get all the computers the same is tedious.
I would like to stay away from re-imaging.

Here’s a list of what I need to configure;
• Windows Explorer
o In the advance setting the ability to change the check box to our specs
o Set all folders to a detail list
o Add some new files type list
o Add and Change default; open with program list
• Change desktop background
• Add user with permissions
• Change computer Name
• Change work group
• Change admin password
• Change network setting to static ip
• Turn off all Security Alerts
• Turn off Firewall
• Turn off Auto Updates
• And more

I know that I can do this manually; but this takes too much time and it’s
not consistent.
I would like to automate this process.
Can this be done and how?
Thanks for any suggestions.

Your other choice might be to create a universal image - but I think you
would get more flexibility with an unattended installation.

Something "extra" - to lock down these systems if needed.
