There is a web site called http://www.thehorsemag.com which uses an image
file to display its "logo". The contents of that image file is the text
"The Horse" with a cool picture of a horse on a motorcycle in between the
two words.
Anyway, I'm trying to determine what the font is that was used for the text
"The Horse" in the image file. I can't find any such similar font on my
system, and I'm guessing that perhaps it is not one that is commonly
installed in Windows. I'd love to be able to use such a font on a web page,
but I'm guessing that I, too, would have to create JPG or GIF files
containing the text in that font in order to have it properly displayed in
most web browsers. The font reminds me of the appearance of the "Iron
Cross" medal that the German army used to award to its soldiers.
If this font is available in, say Photoshop Elements, but is not generally
present on most computers, then am I correct in my assessment of what I'd
need to do to use that font on a web site?
I'm also looking for another font that is commonly used in the signs for
martial arts schools. It looks like the regualr ANSI/ASCII character set
w/respect to the letters & numbers that are present, but all of the letters
& numbers are stylized to appear like the pictograms in many of the Asian
character sets. Again, I see this font shown in image files on web sites,
but no actual text in the HTML source for the page appears to use this font.
A sample of the font is available in an image file at

Department Store". I'd like to know what this font [or font family] is called.
