What are these files?

Bill

Running Windows Defender full scan and notice that there are numerous
folders and files in this path:

c:\Users\ME\Appdata\Local\Microsoft\Windows\TemporaryInternetFiles\Low\Content.IE5\etc

What are these?

Running Vista HP with IE7

Thanks

These are files pulled off the internet by Vista as you work through the
day,
They are temporarily stored in that folder for use and are usually deleted
when you shut down.
Nothing to worry about.

Thanks Jerry

So, I take it the "IE5" (which was the basis of my question) in the path is
just sloppy programming?

Not sloppy really, IE5 up through IE7 is your Internet Explorer.
It is one of the most forgiving programs on your computer.
Without it, your computer would be useless.
