What am I doing wrong in organzing folder contents?

Hi guys, hope someone can help. What am I doing wrong in not being abl
to store the contents of folders (documents or pictures) by Dat
Acquired instead of alphabetically. I go into View-Sort By-More an
make sure Date Acquired is checked, then back to View-Dat
Acquired...and NOTHING. The content stays in alphabetical order. Wha
am I missing or doing wrong? Any help would be much appreciated

Try changing the "views" to list or details. When you open the folder you
will be able to sort
the way you want. Vista won't do it for you, what you checked was only an
option for when you
open the folder. But it will remember your preference when you open it
again. If you're still having troubles,
look at the folder as if you are looking at Outlook and sorting mail. It's
exactly the same layout.
