Western Digital 200GB Hard Drive Still Limited

I'm running Windows XP SP2, and I have a Western Digital 200GB Hard Drive
that is currently limited at 127GB. I've updated everything I could find on
every website/forum. Updated Intel Application Accelerator, My hard drive's
drivers, and tried updating BIOS, which proceeded to ruin my computer for a
brief stint. Does anybody have any suggestions on what to do now?? I'm
running out of options and patience...

Thanks,
Dave

If your BIOS cannot be updated to handle the needed 48 bit LBA, the only
course is to get a plugin controller card that does (not very expensive)

What are you looking at that shows the hard drive to be only 127GB in
size? Windows Explorer? Disk Management?
Either Intel Application Accelerator alone or SP2 alone will allow
Windows XP to see past the 137GB boundary. I assume that the presence
of both won't cause any problem, but one thing you could try is to
uninstall Intel Application Accelerator.
