Weird windows explorer problem

If I go to my computer or windows explorer and double
click on a folder it brings up the search assistant
window. The only way I can browse folders is to right
click and explore each folder which really sucks. Any
ideas as to why the search assistant window comes up when
I double click?

Glad it worked for you, but I haven't got a definitive reason as to why it
happens.

It's caused by adding items to the "File Folder" contexts via the Folder
Options. See:
