weird saves

Hi, I use FP2003 and for the past six months, I have been noticing little
icons of my website FP files showing up in the weirdest places---inside
various picture folders, and now even on my desktop. And, when I am in FP, my
home page index file takes a long time to load into FP, and I'm wondering if
it's because FP is searching around my computer, looking for it. (No files
seem to be missing from the FP filelist). So: Are these icons and file
folders scattered around my computer landscape REALLY the actual files that
are misfiled, or are they just shortcuts with no real content, or are they
perhaps COPIES of my FP website files? Can I delete them from these weird
places (they probably number at least a dozen, now), or should I leave them
alone, or try to move them back into my website using Microsoft Explorer?
Thanks for your help.

Sounds like Icon Cache Corruption on your PC
Download an install / Run Tweak UI to fix your icons
