Weird Prompt on Window XP Programs "This module is a trial version of Delphi."

Dear People,

I am having problems with my computer specifically Windows
XP Products on my computer. About two days ago I started
receiving prompts (or pop-up windows) whenever I try to
open a program such as Internet Explorer, My Computer,
Windows
Explore, and Recycle Bin. The prompt says, "Error: This
module is a trial version of Delphi. The trial has
expired." Then it doesn't do anything, the program dow not
run. When I go to the Windows Task Manager, it shows that
the program is running. I was wondering if you could help
me find a solution? Is this a virus and if so is there
something at Microsoft.com or Symantec.com (Norton
Anti-virus) that I can download to get rid of this? Thank
you for your time and attention.

Thanks,
Mark U.

Perhaps some application you have installed has
registered a shell extension that gets called when
Explorer initializes a window, and that application
was compiled with Delphi trial and has now expired.
Have you examined in control panel add/remove
programs to see if there is a likely candidate application
that you could try to uninstall ?
