Weird problems with visited links

I've got a very strange problem with the links in IE6. On some pages the visited links don't change colour. I've tried deleting the Temporary Internet Files folder and the History folder, I then tried reinstalling IE6. I've even tried the extreme of formatting and reloading the whole pc and still no luck. I've been battling with this problem for almost 6 months now and I'll really appriciate it if someone could help. Thanks

I'm investigating the same problem. I have not been able
to find any information yet (other than the canned, delete
everything and the problem will resolve itself. And you
know that this doesn't work.) I do have a question for
Henri. How much more can you delete a file than by
formatting the hard drive?
