Dear All,

I want to submit my problem since I really don't know what to do anymore.
The facts:

I have an ADSL connection which works fine (I tested it with another
computer)

I have one computer under win98 se, with all TCP/ip entered correctly and a
good configuration under ipconfig.
With this computer, i can ping my gateway and i can ping any url (dns then
seems to work)

BUT :

With IE or moziila I can't open a page anymore.
I have deleted all the other connection I had (modem, ...)

Do you know what I could test more to diagnose the problem ?

Thanks in advance
Phil

There could be a couple of thins going on 1 check to see if a proxy is set in
the browsers and have you installed dot net stuff from MS lately ?

Thanks for your answer.
I have .net framework installed to managed a logitech pen which also gives
me
an error at startup.

But I uninstalled and installed it again no change. Any more idea ?

thanks in advance

have you tried to Repair your browser
If you can ping domain names and IP addresses, then you may have a few corrupt
Internet Explorer files. On older versions of Internet Explorer, you will not
have the repair browser option in Add/Remove Programs. Go to
Start-Settings-Control Panel-Add/Remove Programs, double-click on Internet
Explorer, chooose "Repair Browser", click "Ok", and reboot.
