I have a weird question about merging cells. I have a table of data
and I need to merge a specific number of cells and color them based on
what is in the cells. the reason that i am not using a graph is that
I want to be able to hide certan rows so they can not be seen. This
is an employee survey and here is what the columns and rows look like.
Column A All employees who rated it strongly agree, column B = agree.
column c = Nuetral, and so on. If I had A= 14 B = 10 and C = 7, is
there a way to merge 14 cells and put a 14 into them, then directly to
the right merge 10 cells and put a 10 in them then immediately to the
right merge 7 cells and put a 7 in them? I know this is crazy, but I
can not think of another way of doing this without creating multiple
sheets. I am going to have to hide rows for when it is shown to
different departments.
Thanks,
Jay
