Weird hibernate behavior on XP

Well I have an X-file here...

I turn on my computer, which has WinXp Pro.

At this time the machine works very slow. The overall performance slow down
50%. The screen repaint is slow, vs.net builds slow, etc.

Then I put it on Hibernation, and turn it on again. Now it works perfect,
everything goes fast and smooth

This has been happening for 5 or 6 months... I really don't remember what
could have caused this, so now I want to solve it because it is quite
annoying turn on the computer, hibernate it and turn it on again

Any clues?
