website template top border

aI created my website using one of Frontpage 2003's templates. On my
homepage I am trying to change the width of that top border to 600 pixels but
haven't figured it out. When I insert any table on tht home page I can set
the pixel width to 600 or any other width - why can't I do that on the top
border? In the code I don't see a table dimension like I normally see when I
insert a table.

Thanks,
Bill

The width of the border is whatever width your screen res is set at... you
can't change the shared border(s) in the same way you would a table, it just
doesn't work that way.

The height of the border is only determined by the maximum height of
whatever element is in the border - you can't just *make* the border
whatever height you want.

So if you want it 600pix (that's nearly the entire screen height!) put a
table in it with those dimensions.

Thanks Andrew. One other Q. If I created that page with my screen resolution
high am I going to have to create the page again at say 600x800 in order for
it to comply with the rest of the tables on that page which are 600 pixels
wide? Thanks.
