WWW.OLDPINE.CO.UK OK after months of working on a 'simple but working'
website I was so proud to see my url listed on google - popped back to the
listing a few days later and the listing had been hijacked with webtaxi.com
directing to their site. For example, search old pine furniture in Breamore
(google) you will see our details but at the top of the details where the
viewer clicks (normally) www.oldpine.co.uk this has been replaced with
another url address, i.e. webtaxi.com search engine - why? how? and what can
I do to stop this? Have contacted google but they say contact the webmaster
of webtaxi - did that - didn't reply! Rather annoying. Thank you so very
kindly - any suggestions appreciated on this hijacking!

It's not hijacked ... the site is simply using your description in your meta
tags (the coding of which is incorrect I think, they should be <meta
name="Keywords" insert content here"> )

and linking to your site, because of this and your using a specfic phrase
that is in the description in part it's showing up as the first choice ....

Your site has no pr (page rank) and is using frames I doubt very much if it
will show up.

Your best solution is to ask for a site critique and follow the advice given
to improve matters.

Posting twice will NOT get you and answer twice as fast.

You are not being hijacked they only have a link to your web.

By shouting, he means that you wrote your message in all CAPS. Notice that
others don't do that.

I don't think that's a hijack, that's just another site that meets part of
the search entry "old pine furniture in Breamore " - specifically,
"furniture" and "pine". Your site is the first one that is listed, but there
are many, many more that meet parts of the search criteria.
