webcheck.dll problem

Am getting Explorer error messages relating to webcheck.dll. I have to
versions of webcheck in two different areas within Win98sec.ed. First
version is in win/sys ver.4.72.3110.0 dated May '98. Second version in
win/vcm ver.6.00.2800.1106. Am currently running IE6. Can I delete one
of the webcheck.dll's? Or should I uninstall IE6 and reinstall IE5. ?
Please advise. Thanks
