web site graphics mirroring software?

Hiya,

Maybe I just can't the search string right in Google but I'm looking for a
piece of software which will allow me to download graphics from a web
page.

Special consideration given to one which will allow me to filter for
specific extensions - ie .gif or .png or .ico.

Trying WinHTTrack but can't seem to make it work.

Other suggestions?

Why that ? You should limit the type of files in Set Options > Filters,
I think. But maybe someone else knows Httrack better. I use it with an
extension of Firefox which is quite handy.

ummm...because i thought it would do the job? when you say "i use it with
an extension of Firefox..." - are you referring to downloading images as
in my request? and, if so, would you care to share what that extension
is?

i'm not beholden to any one program - i'm just trying to find any program
which will allow me to download images from a web site.
