Web site found. Waiting for reply...

I reset everything I suspect it has somthing to do with my
software somewhere the router and IP addressing is all
configured correctly. but when i open IE it opens and in
the status bar is just says Website found waiting for
reply. I cant connect on anyother programs. but I can Ping
out to web sites. Any help would be great.. thanks


-No I do have a router/firewall but my computer is
-configured as DMZ host. I can still ping sites such as
-yahoo and see other computers in my network but, When I
-open IE It loads but never gets a reply from any site.
-Like opens - website found - waiting for reply. Then it
-never loads and the status bar still goes up very slowly.
-The other computers on the network can get on no problem.
-I'm useing Windows XP
