Web-cam viewing

People telling me on Yahoo msgr that they are able to view another
individual's web-cam although they themselves do not have a web-cam , to
any/every ones knowledge is this a feasible situation, that I have
overlooked something , because my screen freezes when i accept a invite to
view a web-cam

you can certainly view a remote web cam without having a web cam on your on
PC on other programs such as netmeeting, msn etc.

perhaps there is a setting within yahoo which you need to change to stop it
looking for a local web cam?
