we80.cnf problem

D

Denise

I'm using Front Page 2000 on a Dell computer with WinMe and MS Office Pro
XP. I'm trying to make an update to my web page and I keep getting the
following message when I try to upload: Server error: Cannot open
"we80.cnf": no such file or folder.

I haven't got a clue as to what that means. Can anyone help me? TIA
Denise

I found this via Google. Do you host your own site or is it hosted
elsewhere?

If the file we80.cnf, (or domain_name:port_number.cnf) does not exist in the
"/usr/local/frontpage" directory, re-install the FrontPage Server Extensions
for the domain in question.

My site is hosted by a server.

Contact your host. Apparently this error has something to do with the server
extensions.
