WD beta2 unable to update 0x8024022

Hi,
this is what I get when I try to update definitions after installing ,

Windows Defender was unable to complete the update: 0x8024022.
(...%2... (...%3)...%1).

Any ideas?

Hi Brad and Ravi,
yes the lines in the log is similar to yours,
so. what do I do next?
Wait for the final release of WD to fix the problem or is there something
else I (we ) can do?

Hi you guys,
finally I resolved the issue, the culprit was BITS (Background Intelligent
Transfer Service)it was not running because a subkey was missing from the
registry.
I reviewed my update history and I found the error message 0X80246008 the
BITS was not able to run and then I found the error code 2147024894 and
found the missing registry subkey I created it and fixed the problem.

All is running smoothly now.
