Way to get mobsync to synchronize offline files with IE7?

I have a computer with 6 LCD monitors which display 19 web motion weather
maps. I refresh these maps with XP synchronize with IE6. I have sent the
start/programs/access/synchronize to the desktop and then dragged it to quick
launch. From there it is an easy 2 clicks to synchronize.

Since installing IE7 and or IE8 I can no longer perform a synchronization
that way. I can still do it from control panel/display/customize
desktop/web/synchronize.

Obviously this is a lot more effort.

I have posted on several forums, including Microsoft’s, to no avail. Not one
answer to my posts as yet.

I know there is a difference between the 2 synchros but can not find any
information on the mobsync command line arguments. (both synchro methods use
mobsync because I have seen it popup in the process view.

Anybody have the mobsync command line argruments for the display/customize
desktop/web/synchronize?

Thank you,

John R. Deahl

Never mind. IE7 doesn't have "save as desktop item" so I wouldn't be able to
add any new items with anything above ie6.

Must be another MS improvement!

I guess I will be forced to have a dedicated machine with old software to
support the weather maps.

Unless I install a different browser other than microsofts and leave ie6
installed.

The problem with ie6 is some websites like google are not going to support
it anymore. Don't mind IE7, but IE8 to slow.
