wav files being mistaken for o/s files

I have copied a music cd i purchased and when i take it to
another computer to play the cd it goes to the microsoft
licensing page asking me to migrate my o/s license to the
new computer. Any help?

I guess you have copied the disc using WMA. You can choose between
turning the protection on or off. If it's on, the file will not play
on other computers expect on the computer it was created. I suggests
that you copy the disc again without the protection. You can turn it
off (or on) by doing the following:
(I have a Dutch version so it may be different in the English)
1. Go to the Tools menu and choose Options.
2. Go to Audio Disc
Here you find the option use Personal Right Management. If you turn
this off and copy the disc again, it will play on other computers.
