Have a question. I have been thinking about upgrading from Windows XP 64 to
Vista Ultimate 64 for many reasons.

One of the big reasons is to use Media Center to play movies but I am
wanting to know if I can watch movies from my very powerful 64bit gaming
system (in a different room) that has a 1000mb gaming router connected to it
(Linksys WRT330N) to my Pioneer Elite plasma which has the ability to pull
movies, pics, etc from a media server.

I am new to the media center concept so I don't know if watching movies
(video & audio) is possible over a local network connection.

Anyone help?

Thanks!

Yes it should work and Vista 64 seems better supported with drivers for
some things than XP 64, if you have any thoughts on using wireless
networking though only 1 linksys wireless card I found worked, a very
similar model didn't and no drivers were available. I assume you will be
using wired though.
