Warning from Windows XP when starting a program.

I have an application that sits on a server. I mapped a drive to the app and
when I start I get the familiar "The publisher could not be verified. Are
you sure you want to run this software?"
The software runs just fine, but I would like for the users not to need to
keep having to answer this warning.

Is there anyway to get Win XP to acccept this software specifically?

You may receive the error, "The publisher could not be verified. Are you
sure you want to run this software" while opening a file on a mapped
network drive. To disable the warning, start the Group Policy Editor
(Start > Run, type "gpedit.msc" [Enter] without the quotes) and go to:

User Configuration > Administrative Templates>Windows
Components>Attachment Manager, then set "Inclusion list for low file
types" to Enabled and enter the file types about which you don't want
to be warned in the box (for example: .exe).

I tried this and go the following to run "gpedit.msc":

---------------------------
gpedit.msc
---------------------------
Windows cannot find 'gpedit.msc'. Make sure you typed the name correctly,
and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then
click Search.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

Are you running XP Home? When you said the application "sits on a
server", I assumed you had a server operating system and your XP
workstation was XP Pro since Home cannot join a domain.

Please describe your network.

Sorry, my confusion there. I said in my original question how to get the app
to be accepted by Windows Xp specifically. I then determined that your
answer was in reference to Windows XP.

The app is on Windows 2000 Advanced Server.

The client machines are Windows XP Professional and Home Edition.

I will try this on the server.
