This statement appears in the manual:
"When using the NTFS file system, the TWAIN data source may not be
invoked. This is because the TWAIN module cannot be written to the winnt
directory for security reasons. Contact the computer's administrator for
help."
I'm not sure of the significance of this. The scanner is supposed to
work okay with W2000, which is the OS I still use. Both hard drives are
formatted with the NTFS file system.
Is it just saying that I can't save anything in the winnt
folder/directory, but saving to any other folder is okay, even on NTFS
drives?
