Want to use a second email address to sign in to Messenger, but...

I have two hotmail accounts. One is a very private account. I'd like to use it to occassionally sign in to Messenger. However, I don't want the email address to be seen. But the way my Messenger is currently set up, when I tell it to sign in using a different email address than my main one, it gives me a small box with a drop-down listing of all the email addresses I've used to log on with. How do I defeat or eliminate that box from popping up and allowing others to see that I'm using more than one email account on Messenger? Someone please email me with a step-by-step, computer-illiterate-proof walk-through of what I need to do to make that happen. Thanks.

Greetings,

To stop Passports from being saved completely (and therefore so they won't appear in the drop
down), simply download and run the following .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/disablenetcreds.reg
You'll need to reboot to see the change -- also note that this will remove any saved
automatic login you may have.

I'd you'd just prefer to remove the Passport from the list instead of disabling the
functionality all together, you can do so after you sign in by clicking the Start Button,
then click the Control Panel. Then, click User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select your
account name, and then on the left side of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my
Network Passwords'. In the window that opens, you can remove accounts by clicking the
passport you wish to delete [denoted by (Passport)], and then click the 'Remove' button. For
more detailed instructions and screenshots on this procedure, see:
