want to stop "INSTALL" roxie v6

Every time I "right click" on a drive (flash, CD, burner, camera, etc.) an
"install roxie v6" window appears - DEMANDING I install roxie 6.
1. I tried to let it install but get error for missing msi file, etc.
2. When I try to get rid of the "install" box, I get other boxes and
3. finally after closing (X-ing) all the messages boxes to "install"

I can get to the drive I want.

How do I get rid of this "install" bug(ger) thing?

Thanks in advance,
Audrey

AARENNELS,

It sounds like you computer has this installed anyway & something has
corrupted the install. How was this application originally installed? CD or
from your computer? What you need to do is find the MSI that is required,
let it run & that will stop the installation you get on right-click

Another example of this is if you have Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition
& then install MSN Messenger on right-click it tries to install the virus
software again

The only way around it is to find that MSI (Windows Installer file), let it
run once when its asked for & you will get rid of it

Any advice is my attempt to contribute more than I have received but I can only assure you that it works on my PC. GOOD LUCK.

Run the Windows Installed Clean Up Utility and remove the reference to
Roxio.
