W2K user cloning?

Hi!

I´m setting up 5 similar Workstations.
Cloning the system itself is no problem (with sysprep) but
is there a chance to clone the user´s profil?

I want user: surfer-1 on machine: surfen-1,
surfer-2 on machine: surfen-2 ...

My reference system is surfen-1 with user surfer-1 and i
want to clone the system and the user, but the user
should than be surfer-2.

Any chance to do this?

I don't know that this will work, but i seem to recall a similar
procedure for moving a local user profile to a domain profile:
****************
Create/set up the user profile for the first one.

Log off as that user and log in as administrator.

copy that profile directory to a directory called baseuser or some
such... make it available on the network or burn it to CD.

Go to the next machine and log in as administrator.

Move "Default User" profile to "Default User.backup"

Copy the Baseuser directory to "Default User"

Create the new user and log out.

Log in as the new user. This should copy the default setup.

Log out and back in as administrator.

delete "Default user" and rename "Default user backup" back to
"Default user"
****************
going from memory here... and microsoft probably doesn't recommend
this.... so use at your own risk. ;)

Hmmmm... I wonder if that would mess up the unique id associated with
each user???
