W2K machine does not POST after a restart

I have a W2K SP4 workstation that does not POST after a
restart. The machine will shutdown completely after
selecting shutdown, but when I select restart, this
workstation does close the OS, but does not go back to
POST and the power light stays on green.

Does the computer boot back up properly after a Restart or does it hang? If
it doesn't hang and you just don't see the POST information, then it sounds
like normal behavior. Some computers don't go through a full POST process
during a warm reboot, it just depends on the manufacturer.

Also, some allow you to toggle between Quickboot and
Normalboot in the BIOS.
