W2000 & XP Home

I have a laptop running W2000. I have just got a desktop running XP Home and want to network the two using a direct connection. I can't use the XP network wizard on W2000. I can see each computer in the Workgroup - but when I try and open them I get the following message ".....is not accessible. The network path was not found." Any suggestions?

Do you have any shares setup, otherwise all you will see
is the other pc id !

I'm having the same problem and I do have shares setup.
Any thoughts?

Yes - I do have shared folders set up.
