vs2008 express help problem

I installed vs2008 express without problem. I have registered the product.
I made a project and it runs ok. I did F1 on the word "Class" and the proper
help page showed up. Help browsing worked ok for various items of
information. (Hence, help is installed, and Add/Remove programs confirms the
installation of "MSDN Library for Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Express
Editions"). But, when I tried to get to the .NET Framework Class Library
Reference, I get a general error page that says "Information Not Found".
What do I need to do to see the Class Library Reference?

Some text from the error page is included below:

I did a search in MSDN for this errror, and someone named Kathleen wanted
answers to the questions below. So FYI...

1. Whiich profile did you selected when you installed Visual Studio? (i.e.
did you indicate that Visual Basic is the environment you use most?) - Yes,
VB and only VB.

2. In your Help options, (open Help, then go to Tools|Options), which
setting do you have selected under "When loading Help content"? - I've tried
both online first then local, and local first then online, current setting is
online first then local.

3. Did you install the MSDN Library locally on your computer? - add/remove
programs confirms that "MSDN Library for Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Express
Editions" is installed. I did not specifically install it, but it was
installed as part of installing vs 2008 express.

4. Does the error within Document Explorer occur whenever you perform a
search? If it only occurs on certain searches, please give me an example of
the search string you used? - the page ".NET Framework Reference Information"
has links, eg to class library reference, and the links give the error.
