Hi people,

Can anyone point me out to some web site or documents how to implement VPN
in the SBS 2003? I've a customer who is having a
Cisco Pix 506e router with (Cisco Pix Firewall Version 6.1(4)) So they need
to access the server and the network remotely to access files. I have no
idea abt the cisco router and I've not done a vpn setup earlier but I can
follow a document and get in hands quickly. So if anyone have some idea how
this has to be implemented pls let me know. I will try to get as much as
information from the web also. Thanks in advance.

Hello,

1. Great book that just came out: "Cisco PIX Firewalls Configure,
Manage, and Troubleshoot" by Behrens, Browne, Dubrawsky, Khan,
Kligerman, and Sweeney. Saved my *ss a few times already.

2. Cisco VPN Client......about $40.00. Worked great. Tried the "Add
New Network Connection" through windows to set up a VPN
connection....L2TPT and couldn't get it to work as I wanted (probably
my error).

3. You're gonna have to learn how to configure the PIX: Go to the
comp.dcom.sys.cisco newsgroup and Cisco's web site for questions.

Hope this shows you the right track to follow.

Regards,

Buck
