VPN/ Linksys

At home I have 2 win 2k PC’s that are connected through VPN to an outside office server. Both PC’s are members of domain. I added a Linksys router to share internet and file / printer sharing. I have no problem to log to VPN from both PC’s and I can get to the internet on both PC’s, but I cannot share file/printer between these 2 PC’s. Usually I log as a user name to “this computer†and do my work.

My question is:

How to network these 2 PC’s and the laptop so all can share a printer or share files?

thanks

Do you log onto both local machines ("this computer") with the same user
name and password? If not, create a user account on each machine with the
same user name and password used to log onto the the other machine.

Change the name of the Laptop's workgroup to the NetBIOS name of the domain
(NetBIOS name of domain.com = 'domain'). Log onto "this computer" on the 2
domain machines. On each computer add user accounts which match the user
name and password used to log onto the other machines.
