I have configured RRAS. and now the VPN client can only
access the RRAS server nothing else. I have
enabled "Enable IP Routing". And the "Router" option is
not enabled only the Remote Access Server" is enabled.

Thanks,
Joe

Have you configured RRAS server to have a static IP address pool? If so, the
static address should be in the rage of your sub net for cleints to interact
with your network.

To add, the static pool should be fall into the same subnet as your private
network's subnet (n/w where your private NIC goes).

1. Check out whether you have any IP filters set on the user in the Remote
Access Policy.
2. Check whether you can reach the machines from the VPN server itself.
3. Check whether the client has set "use default gateway..." option in the
connectoid, this is necessary to reach machines which are beyond private
LAN.

Thanks for the reply,

It is working now with static. and ips are on the same
subnet as the rest of the network. I had it setup for
DHCP and the my linksys was the DHCP server. I don't know
why it would it work.
But I have one more issue. I can access the network by ip
not by name. The ipcofig on the VPN client shows the
following:
ip:10.10.1.201
subnet:255.255.255.255
gw: 10.10.1.201
DNS:10.10.1.2 (that is the internal DNS for the network)
All the machines are XP and 2000 with Active Directory
setup. Internally we can access by name with no problem.

Thanks,
Joe

Can you ping the dns server from ras client.
Use nslookup.exe utility to get more info.

It is working now, I haven't changed anything. Maybe it just took a while.
Thanks for the help.
