VPN and Empty Network Drive

VPN to our network domain and can get emails fine. Open a mapped
netwrok drive and I can not see folders or files, it's empty, yet I
know there is data there.

Is there a cache that needs to be cleared. I log in with my network ID
and password and my VPN ID and password just fine. After reading other
postings I get the feeling that there is a cache of some sort. Do I
delete my cached local user account and then try reconnecting? Our
domain uses roaming profiles also.

I have tried using start - run and mapping to \\server\folder with same
affect - no data in the drive. I have not tried connecting as a
different user and then using my credentials again.

None of the answers I have read have helped me resolve the issue. I
can be emailed at (e-mail address removed)

Thanks for any assistance.

Never see this issue before. but try this after establishing VPN, use net use * /d command. disconnect and re-connect the VPN. post back with the result.

So you are saying disconnect all network drives and reconnect them
while using VPN?

Are you using the offline files on slow link policy? This disconnects the
servers netbios name. Have you tried accesing the share by FQDN? This should
work...

Hello,
I am having the same issue, all users have U drive mapped, and My Documents
is re-directed to U drive. When I set My Docs to Offline and user has VPN to
our network, all drives mapped to primary server where u drive is are blank.

Tried Hosts file, mapping by UNC name no luck. I can ping by ip and host
name, proper A records are being maintained by our Primary DNS server.

Thanks,
