launches it is running and shows Minimized on the Task Bar. How can i get it
Maximized?

I did as you say and it won't maximize.

I'm guessing that now after launching, you can click the button on the
taskbar to get it back, correct?

If it is launching minimized, all you need to do is right-click the VPC
shortcut, and select properties. In the "Run" dropdown box, select
"Normal Window" then click OK.

VPC should then start normally.
