The volume icon does not appear in my taskbar. When I go to control panel,
sounds and then device it shows that i have no audio device and can not
change speaker volume and can not place volume in my taskbar. I get an error
report that says something like "symatec script blocking" and "helpctr.exe
documents and settings/owner/from start help"
My speakers work. I can hear sound through music match. I can not hear it
through itunes, not does it play the normal AOL sounds (you got mail, etc).
It does play sound through a cd game my kid uses. I suspect that this may be
part of the problem?
any help you can give is welcomed!
